ORDINANCE NO. 2009-006

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2005-014 ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CASH ASSISTANCE FUND FOR HOSPITALIZATION/MEDICAL AND/OR DEATH EXPENSES FOR MEMBERS OF THE BARANGAY TANODS, BARANGAY HEALTH WORKERS (BHW), BARANGAY NUTRITION SCHOLARS (BNS), BARANGAY SERVICE POINT OFFICERS (BSPO), SUPPLEMENTAL FEEDING VOLUNTEERS (BSFV), BARANGAY SOCIAL WORK VOLUNTEERS (BSWV), BARANGAY EDUCARE TEACHERS, AND SUCH OTHER BARANGAY VOLUNTEERS AS THE CITY GOVERNMENT MAY HEREINAFTER APPOINT, IN THE TWENTY-SEVEN (27) BARANGAYS OF THE CITY OF NAGA, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE ORDINANCE NO. 2000-001, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES” BY CLARIFYING THE PROVISION OF SECTION 3 THEREOF AND BY INCLUDING LUPON MEMBERS:-

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. – Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2005-014 is hereby amended by including in the enumerated persons, Barangay Service Point Officers, Supplemental Feeding Volunteers and Lupon Members, now to read as follows: “Section 3. Entitlement. Any person claiming entitlement to the cash assistance granted under this Ordinance must be a duly appointed, reorganized, or authorized Barangay Tanod, Barangay Health Worker, Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Barangay Service Point Officer, Supplemental Feeding Volunteers, Barangay Social Worker Volunteer, Barangay Day Care Teachers, or Lupon Members, in any of the twenty-seven (27) barangays of the City of Naga in active duly/service or has rendered service as such for at least seven (7) years.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
