UNC produces 22 new lawyers

The University of Nueva Caceres College of Law has produced 22 new lawyers, mustering a passing average of 31.42, or slightly over the national average of 31 percent.

Judge Corazon A. Tordilla, Dean of the College of Law, said they have prepared their recent law graduates to the new format set by the Supreme Court in the latest Bar examinations which consists of Multiple Choice Questions, 60%, and Essay-type Questions,40 %.

The UNC College of Law is known for producing competent graduates, most of them are now trial court judges and clerks of court in different cities, municipalities and provinces in the Bicol Region.

Since it was established in 1948, the college has produced nine Bar topnotchers, to wit: Benjamin Claveria, 10th place (1958); David C.Naval, 5th Place (1960); 1966 Ricardo Gonzales, 14th Place (1966) ; Rosario Torrecampo,11th Place (1967); Politico Corporal, 20th Place (1976) ; Amador L. Simando, 12th Place (1980); Soliman Santos, 19th Place (1982) ; Adan Botor, 20th Place (1982) ; Galauran, John Michael, 5th Place (2007).
