Marathon to restore Inas’s shrine

42k is a pure running event

CONTINUE to run for Ina as the Parish and Shrine of Our Lady of Peñafrancia hosts and organizes a Peñafrancia Marthon this September 8, 2012 (Saturday).

What sets it apart from previous marathons is its 42K category, a “pure running” event. Participants may opt to run 3K, 5K, 10K, 21K, and as aforementioned, 42K.

Those who will place on the 21K and 42K runs will receive medals. In addition, it has been proposed that the route will only be within the jurisdiction of the City of Naga, beginning and ending at the Shrine.

Proceeds of the marathon will go to the restoration of the Shrine of Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

Registration fees are as follows: PhP 400 for 3K and 5K, PhP 500 for 10k and 21K, and lastly, PhP 700 for 42KRegistration is accepted at SM Naga City, Tri-N-Run Multisports  (Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City and Embarcadero, Legazpi City), Recreational Outdoor eXchange (Manila), and Chris Sports (SM Mall of Asia and TriNoMa, both in Manila).
