NAGA CITY — The city government thru the Naga City Ecology Park Botanical, Zoological and Recreational Center Development (BZRCD) Task Force is finalizing the blueprint for the Naga City Ecological Park’s physical improvement to ensure its optimal utilization as recreation center.
The project, which is being pursued as mandated by Executive Order 2016-016 which was issued by Mayor John G. Bongat on June 24, this year, aims to develop the present park into Naga City Ecology Park Botanical, Zoological and Recreation Center to realize its potential by developing and converting it into an economic enterprise.
Mayor Bongat said that the task force is commissioned to draft, consolidate, and present proposals for the development of the facility to be able to offer enjoyment, education and benefit to the people.
The Special Concerns Office (SCO) and the City Parks and Recreational Facilities Management Office (CPRFMO) said that by the first week of November, this year, they are going to present before the City Development Council for its approval the proposed comprehensive site development plan for the 3-hectare Naga City Ecology Park.
