‘Eat Bulaga’ in Naga

The 175-strong crew of the “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment of the popular noontime show, “Eat Bulaga,” over GMA-7 have started arriving here in batches for its live presentation in Camaligan, Camarines Sur on June 22 and in Barangay Calauag, this city, on June 23.

Production managers, segment hosts and crew members arrived as early as Tuesday, June 19, until Thursday, June 21, to prepare for the live shoot, particularly the “Sugod Bahay” portion where game show hosts Paolo, Wally, and Jose will run to the house of a lucky homeowner whose telephone or cellphone number was drawn from coupons at the main studios in Quezon City by main host Vic Sotto.

Wally was once a singer and stand-up comedian in Naga’s bistro district before he tried his luck in Manila and eventually in the country’s top noontime show, Eat Bulaga.

The lucky homeowner(s) will receive generous bundles of food stuffs and goodies, cash and other perks given away by program sponsors, aside from the chance of being interviewed live in a national television show.

The GMA-7 crew members from Manila are coordinating here with the Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office of the Naga City Government.
