Strategic Location

Naga City can be found in the Bicol Peninsula in Southern Luzon within the Province of Camarines Sur.  It is located at the very center of the Bicol Region, dubbing it as the heart of the Region.  It is 377 kms. South of Manila and about 100 kms. North of Legaspi City in Albay Province.  It has a total land area of 8,448 hectares.  It has 27 barangays (villages) under its jurisdiction namely: Abella, Bagumbayan Norte, Bagumbayan Sur, Balatas, Calauag, Cararayan, Carolina, Concepcion Grande, Concepcion Pequeña, Dayangdang, Del Rosario, Dinaga, Igualdad, Lerma, Liboton, Mabolo, Pacol, Panicuason, Peñafrancia, Sabang, San Felipe, San Francisco, San Isidro, Santa
Cruz, Tabuco, Tinago, and Triangulo.

It has become the center of arts and culture in Bicol with its annual showcase of talents, beauties and masterpieces especially during September, Fiesta Season, during which the most beautiful women from all over the Region gather to contend for the most coveted title of Ms. Bicolandia which has served as the stepping stone for Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Maria Venus Raj and the late Miss International 2009 Melody Gersbach.
It has inspired creative minds from all over the world with its scenic places and sunsets perfect for photography enthusiasts and professional photographers alike.  The City has inspired and spawned national artists like renowned painter Pancho Piano who has just paid tribute to his beloved region in his 31st Solo Exhibition called “Illuminare” here in Naga City.
