Settling Fines on Apprehended Market Violators

ABOUT THE SERVICES

NAGA CITY Public Market and street vendors are registered with the Market Enterprise and Promotions Office. They are assigned a specific area within the market or the city’s business districts where they can put up stalls and sell their wares.

Those who violate the guidelines on vending should be reported to the NCPM. They are apprehended and their goods are confiscated.

Apprehended goods may be reclaimed after payment of a corresponding fine.

The NCPM also regularly checks vendors’ weighing scales. Fines are imposed for the use of defective units.
