Securing Permit on All Advertising and Promotional Activities

ABOUT THE SERVICES

Corporations, groups and other entities who wish to promote or advertise their product/s or service/s or events to the public through installation/posting of billboard, signage, streamers, posters and/or fliers and other similar materials.

REQUIREMENTS (per City Ordinance No. 99-085)

  1. Written application address to the City Mayor copy furnished the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) and the City Engineer’s Office (CEO). Attached thereto are the design, details & specifications and the site/location/sketch plan of the project.
  2. If the site/location is a private property, applicant must present any written document showing the consent of the owner.
  3. Affidavit of undertaking to assume all obligation and liabilities cause to any third party by reason of such project.
  4. Such other documents/papers that the city may require.
    Provided that in case of application to post or put up streamers, posters and flyers, only a written application address the City Mayor will be sufficient. Such letter must state the total number, the period/duration and the areas/sites/locations.

Provided further that, except for the City Mayor, all and every application submitted must be acted upon by the persons concern within three (3) working days from receipt thereof otherwise, the City Mayor in the exercise of his discretion act on the pending application subject however to payment of fees or charges as provided hereinafter.

Double face 80.00/sq. m./annum

  • Billboards or signs for professionals, per sq. m. or fraction thereof
  • Billboards, signs or advertisements for business and professionals painted on any building or structure or otherwise separated or detached therefrom, per sq. m. or fraction thereof
  • Advertisement by means of placards, per sq. m. or fraction thereof

30.00/ sq. m./annum

  • Advertisements by means of promotional sale
  • (house to house) per day or fraction thereof

100.00/day

  • Advertisement by means of streamers (tarpaulins)

4.00/sq.m./day

  • Posters

2.00/piece

  • Advertisement by means of vehicles, balloons, kits, etc

60.00 per vehicle per day or fraction thereof

120.00 per vehicle per week or fraction thereof

240.00 per vehicle per month or fraction thereof

2. Payment of Fees

Pay the prescribed fee at the City Treasurer’s Office.

3. Preparation of Mayor’s Permit

Show your official receipt to CMO personnel. Upon presentation of the Official Receipt and corresponding streamers/posters, employee in charge prepares the permit. In case of billboards, endorsements from the CEO and CPDO is required.

4. Approval of Permit

The Mayor or his authorized representative signs the permit.
