Applying/Renewing a Trimobile Franchise
ABOUT THE SERVICE
PER ORDINANCE No. 93-049 or the Transport and Traffic Code of Naga City, all motorized tricycles or trimobiles operating in the city as public utility must possess a valid franchise to operate and a Mayor’s Permit.
The Sanggunian has limited the number of trimobile franchises for regular routes to 1,500 units. Only Naga residents are allowed to hold a trimobile franchise.
The trimobile franchise shall be valid for 3 years and Mayor’s permit shall be for a period of 1 year and has to be secured annually. Failure to renew may mean cancellation of franchise.

- Driver’s ID/Accreditation
- BIR Clearance
- SSS Clearance
- Insurance Coverage of P50, 000.00
- Inspection Report – 3 copies

| 1. Secure and Submit Application Form
Secure Application Form and list of requirements to the Trimobile Task Force (TTF). Accomplish the form and submit the same to the Trimobile Task Force (TTF). |

| 2. Request for Unit Inspection
Present your trimobile unit to the Public Safety Office for inspection as to roadworthiness. Public Safety Office approves the inspection |

| 3. Submit Inspection Report
Go back to the TTF. Submit the inspection report and all other requirements for assessment. |

| 4. Assessment for Mayor’s Permit and Franchise Fee
Present the original LTO OR and CR to the TTF assesses the fees to be paid. |

Pay the required fees at the City Treasurer’s Office. |

| 6. Preparation of Franchise Agreement

Sign the franchise agreement and bring the same to the City Mayor’s Office for approval. |
