Applying for Home Lot

ABOUT THE SERVICE

LANDLESS URBAN poor families in the city may apply for homelots under the Kaantabay sa Kauswagan program.

Urban poor families are those whose income is below P15,000.00 a month.

Amortizations for these homelots are paid to the city government.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Homelot Application Form [click to download CHSDO - APPLICATION FOR HOMELOT ]
  • Barangay Certificate of Residency, for both husband and wife
  • Photocopy of Voter’s Affidavit or Voter’s ID of husband or wife
  • Certificate of Membership in the accredited urban poor association or Affidavit of Undertaking that the applicant will join, be a member and abide the Constitution and By-laws of the homeowner’s organization in the resettlement area/site where the applicant will be resettled [click to download CHSDO - AFFIDAVIT OF UNDERTAKING ]
  • Certification, for both husband and wife, from the City and Provincial Assessor’s Office and the Registry of Deeds as to aggregate landholding
  • Affidavit that the applicant does not own any real property within the Philippines [click to download CHSDO - REAL PROPERTY AFFIDAVIT ]
  • Certification of non-availment of housing loan from the GSIS, SSS and PAG-IBIG [ click to download CHSDO - AFFIDAVIT OF NON AVAILMENT HOUSING LOAN ]
  • Income Tax Return or, in the absence thereof, Affidavit of Income
  • Photocopy of Marriage Contract
  • 2″ x 2″ picture of both husband and wife

HOW TO AVAIL OF THE SERVICE

FOLLOW THESE STEPS IT WILL TAKE YOU PLEASE APPROACH
1. Inquiry and Interview

Go to the HSDO and inquire about the availability of vacant homelots at various Urban Poor Projects.

A clerk interviews the applicant and informs him/her about the procedures to be followed in applying for a resettlement lot.

Applicant asks for a copy of an Application and Survey Form.

2. Payment of Application Fee

If the applicant is qualified under the program, he/she pays the P5.00 application fee.

3. Preparation of Requirements

Applicant fills up the Application Form and prepares all the requirements.

4. Secure Clearances

Secure clearances from the following city government offices, pay fees and submit documents required:
–> City Assessor’s Office
–> City Engineer’s Office
–> Metro PESO
–> City Social Welfare and Development Office
–> City Treasurer’s Office

These offices check whether the applicant has outstanding accountabilities under any of their programs.

5. Submission of Forms and Requirements

After securing requirements and clearances, applicant submits the documents attached to the Homelot Application Form for recording and processing.

Ask for one copy of the application form for personal reference.

6. Recommendation of Homelot

Application to the Naga City Urban Development & Housing Board (NCUDHB)

Prioritizes the applications and submits them to the Field Investigator working under the Inspection and Monitoring Team of the Naga City Urban Development and Housing Board for Investigation and Inspection. The team submits an investigation and inspection report to the Board for disposition.

Applicant is notified about the disposition

If the application is approved, wait for notice of lot awarding.
